I must catch the first Pokémon I find in each route or area. 2. If a Pokémon faints, it is considered dead and must be released or perma-boxed. 3. I must nickname all of my Pokémon. 4. No over-leveling past the next Gym Leader's (or Elite 4) ace. 5. No items in battle (held items okay). 6. Battle mode must be put on set at all times. Additional Rules: 1. No set up moves (Swords Dance, Agility, Calm Mind, etc.) 2. No EV training. EV's will accrue naturally, but I won't intentionally EV train my Pokemon in specific stats. Clauses: 1. Species clause: If the first Pokémon I find on a new route or area is from the same evolutionary line as a Pokémon I've already caught, I can re-roll the encounter until I find a Pokémon from an evolutionary line that I haven't already caught. 2. Shiny clause: If I find a Shiny Pokémon, regardless of whether or not it is my first encounter in the route or area, I am allowed to catch it due to how incredibly rare it is to find a Shiny in the first place. 3.
