Former Central African Republic PM leads in presidential vote
Provisional results from Central African Republic's vote show former Prime Minster Faustin Archange Touadera in the lead. Vote counting is still under way, though, and Touadera is closely followed by Anicet Georges Dologuele. 30 candidates in total contested the election. The vote was seen as a milestone for stability and democracy in the country. It's widely expected that a second round of voting may take place. So far, the provisional results are from the capital, Bangui, with the tallies of other districts coming in too. A vote for the National Assembly also took place, but there have been some irregularties, and some districts will have to vote again.
