Qin Shi Huang: The First Emperor Who Unified China.

Qin Shi Huang: The First Emperor Who Unified China.

In 221 BCE, Qin Shi Huang ended years of warfare by unifying China under a single empire. Through centralized governance, standardized writing, and measurement systems, he laid the foundation for a strong and organized state. To defend against northern threats, he initiated the construction of the Great Wall. However, his rule was also marked by strict policies and the suppression of Confucian scholars. After his death, his grand mausoleum and the famous Terracotta Army were discovered. Though the Qin Dynasty fell soon after, Qin Shi Huang’s legacy remains one of the most significant turning points in Chinese history.
