Cody Carnes) [Live], from the 2014 album release: Majestic, is the copyrighted property of its owner(s). Holy Spirit, written by Bryan and Katie Torwalt Verse I: There's nothing worth more that will ever come close No thing can compare You're our living hope Your presence, Lord Verse II: I've tasted and seen Of the sweetest of loves Where my heart becomes free And my shame is undone Your presence, Lord Chorus: Holy Spirit, You are welcome here Come flood this place and fill the atmosphere Your glory, God, is what our hearts long for To be overcome by Your presence, Lord Bridge: Let us become more aware of Your presence Let us experience the glory of Your goodness This song has definitely become one of my favorites from the album! In my own words, I think the song "Holy Spirit" reminds us that we just need Jesus...no one else but Jesus Christ. Throughout our daily lives, we should constantly seek the Lord especially during the bad times. There will be times of sadness, times of struggle, and times of hopelessness. Yet, we can always rely on the Lord because He is with us through it all! While it seems like the whole world is about to fall apart, as long as we continue to trust in Him, Jesus will never leave nor forsake us. By the way, many thanks to UMG for allowing this video to be posted! Love in Christ! Psalm 51: 10-12 - "Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me." (NIV)
