He wants to be with us in our struggles and journey in life. Hence, He took flesh in our Lord Jesus. In Jesus, God assumed our humanity. He stripped Himself of His divinity, assumed our humanity, carried our sins in His body and stripped Himself of all that enslaves us so that we can “put on His divinity” by sharing in His Divine Life. He came to show us God’s love and mercy, His forgiveness and compassion for the outcasts, sinners and rejected. He came to heal us of our sicknesses and brokenness. So what is preventing us from experiencing His unconditional love so that we can love like Him? We can experience love only when we are humble. When we do not receive love, when we do not allow people to love us, then we prevent the love of God from entering into our hearts. ► MORE HOMILIES/REFLECTIONS by Archbishop William Goh • PLAYLIST:    • Homilies and Extracts by Cardinal William Goh   • WEB : https://www.catholic.sg/archbishop/sc... • APP : https://app.catholic.sg ► SUBSCRIBE ABOVE For new homilies and remember to tap on the golden bell icon to be alerted for new videos ► CONTRIBUTIONS: Support the production of our media content at https://www.catholic.sg/webcast ► CONNECT WITH ARCHBISHOP WILLIAM GOH • Facebook :   / archbishop.william   • Instagram :   / archie.will   • Twitter :   / archbishopwill   ► MORE INFORMATION • Production and Webcasting by staff of the Communications Office, Archbishop's Office, Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Singapore • Connect with the Archdiocese - https://www.catholic.sg/our-channels • Music credit - https://www.purple-planet.com #homily # homilytoday #homilies #catholichomily #jesus #catholic #catholicsg #proud2bcatholic N.B.
