Pineapple Ham and Glaze Recipe, Dutch Oven Cooking. Today, I'm cooking up a delicious Pineapple Ham and Glaze recipe using my cast iron Dutch oven under hot coals. Here’s the recipe if you’d like to try it yourself. Ingredients: 1 ham (small enough to fit your Dutch oven) 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup maple syrup 1/2 cup pineapple juice Instructions: 1. Place the ham in your Dutch oven. 2. Mix the brown sugar, maple syrup, and pineapple juice to create your glaze. 3. Pour the glaze over the ham. 4. Use the 10x2 coal method: Place 10 coals on top and 10 on the bottom. Then take 3 coals from the bottom and add them to the top, giving you 13 on top and 7 on the bottom, reaching a cooking temperature of 350°F. 5. Cook for 1 to 1.5 hours or until the ham is heated through and nicely glazed. Life Is Good Willy
