Contemporary Worship • March 2, 2025, 10:45 AM • Transfiguration Sunday
Recording of this weekend's contemporary worship service March 2nd 2025 • Transfiguration Sunday. The sermon is “A Vision and a Voice” by Pastor Kurt Ebert based on Luke 9:28-36. Throughout Epiphany, we have seen brief highlights from our Lord's three-year ministry. Now Jesus sets His face toward Jerusalem as He journeys to the cross. Just as Moses only glimpsed the Promised Land from afar, so now on the mount of the transfiguration we are given only a glimpse of Jesus' glory. And yet, we await another mountaintop experience on the other side of Lent. On Mount Calvary, Jesus will show the full glory of His grace as He dies for us. We live in the assurance that we will one day enjoy the full presence and glory of our Lord. View the bulletin for this service at https://clcs.org/bulletin20250302c.
