Disney: Candlelight Processional featuring John Stamos on December 5th 2023 (4K)

Walt Disney started a tradition in 1955 as part of Disneyland's first holiday season. He brought carolers to the park to perform in various areas. Like everything Disney, things grew and evolved over the year from there with 1958 taking on larger scale more formalized performance style. Two years in 1960 the current format started to emerge with the addition of a celebrity reading from the Christmas Story for the first time. It's no surprised then that with the opening of Disney World in 1971 they would bring the Christmas tradition to the Magic Kingdom for its first Christmas season. It remained there until 1994 when it moved to Epcot to become what it is today. During each Christmas season the performance takes place twice nightly between Thanksgiving and Christmas with a schedule of celebrities and athletes announced in advance to each perform for 2-3 days of the schedule. The 2023 holiday season kicked off the day after Thanksgiving with a star studded lineup of narrators running through Christmas. This video was filmed on December 5th, Walt Disney's birthday, and a historical day for Epcot as it saw the opening of World Celebration in the morning and Luminous The Symphony of Us at night. This was John Stamos final night of the year to narrate before Neil Patric Harris took over next.
