Seeding Blankets - Are They Worth It?

I decided to use Futerra Netless Blankets on my entire lawn renovation instead of peat moss. Was the decision worth it? In this video I give the pros and cons to using erosion/seeding blankets instead of peat moss. I also give a 35 day update on my Kentucky Bluegrass Lawn Renovation consisting of Mazama, Everest, and Bluebank cultivars. These cultivars are designed to be very dark green grass that also does well in shade. They are elite cultivars of Kentucky Bluegrass. The pros to using Futerra Netless Blankets are that they prevent washouts, hold moisture very well, and help extremely well with grass seed germination. On the opposite side, the cons of using these erosion blankets is that the installation can be a difficult process, you do not know how much moisture they hold at times, the cost a lot of money, and finding the stakes if you are reel mowing is difficult.
