John 15:9 "As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you; abide in My love." This was written for Easter, the days Jesus took our punishment and died for us on the cross, to be raised from the dead on the third day. To God I give the Glory. His love is beyond what we can comprehend. I am so thankful our Father is so loving and patient for us to keep bettering our lives as we continue to journey through time. I love that first He gives us an example how God loved Him to show us how Jesus' love for us is the same. The only way to truly receive that is by faith in Jesus. Then He tells us to abide in His love which implies for us to have a continuous relationship, a life lived in connection with Jesus' love and presence. So it's one thing to believe in Jesus but it's another to continually work at walking away from the lust for things of the Earth. Our bodies are constantly wanting to gain and receive the pleasures of the world and finding comfort in that while our spirits long for all those things in Christ. We are in an ever tug a war with our own self but when we continually practice our faith and learning Gods words, we begin to resist the temptations of the world. To be perfect is impossible for we are constantly battling our bodies desires only now we are aware of the wrongful things we do. Jesus died on the cross and took our punishment for those sins so that we can be saved and begin to live a life that produces good fruit for the Lord. His love should shine through you in all that you do because your joy comes from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ of Nazareth who took our place on the cross. We are blessed every single day that we get to wake up. Don't let the enemy twist Gods words to keep you stuck in a sinful place you are in. Lean on God and trust that He truly saved you and let His love motivate you to change and to allow Him to mold you to the person He created you to be.
