106 Gray peas and Bacon , Latvia national dish

On this Episode of Cooking Every National Dish, Gray peas and bacon from Latvia Gray peas and bacon from Latvia Ingredients: 3 cups gray peas (or black-eyed peas) 1 Tbsp salt 3 Tbsps olive oil 3 chopped onions 700 gm smoked bacon cubed Soak the peas in water for 24 hours add the peas with the soaked water to a pot along with some extra water and 1 Tbsp of salt.
