4/22/2025 Daily Pause to Pray and Praise
Prayer Focus Theme: “Mystery” Please lift up your prayer requests in the comment section of today so we can pray LIVE or as soon as we see the requests. GREETINGS AFFIRMATION God of new life, you have brought your reign into the world through the resurrection of your only Son, our Lord. Psalm (#80) Prayer O Lord, at times we feel like the Israelites in Exile. Hear our cry for help and restore us so that we might be saved. Stay near to us when we try to wander from you, and guide us safely with your mysterious love. Amen. SCRIPTURES Refer to your own Bible or visit https://www.biblegateway.com Isaiah 6: 1-7 SILENT REFLECTIONS ON SCRIPTURES REFLECTIONS By Various Authors on pages 167 - 171 in A GUIDE TO PRAYER FOR ALL WHO WALK WITH GOD, etc. PRAYERS FOR THE WORLD, FOR OTHERS, FOR OURSELVES Comment below with your intentions, joys and concerns so we might pray with you now and afterward LORD'S / OUR FATHER PRAYER (in the version or language as you know) Our God/Father, Who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. OFFERING OF SELF TO GOD God of new creation, we want to live a life that bears witness to the reconciliation you have brought through Jesus’ resurrection. Inspire us to follow Jesus’ way so that your Kingdom may be known even now. Amen. BLESSING May the God who brings life into places where death once ruled give us calm assurance for the future this day. Amen. Content adapted by Rev.
