Mordaunt crashes out of Tory leadership race leaving Sunak and Truss in the final
Penny Mordaunt received the fewest votes in the fifth round of the Tory leadership contest leaving former chancellor Rishi Sunak and foreign secretary Liz Truss to duke it out in the final. Conservative party members will vote over the summer to chose a leader, with the result to be announced on 5 September.
