Sardinia - Hiking to Gola di Gorropu
Driving on SS 125 from Arbatax to Passo Ghenna Silana (trailhead) and then hiking down to Gola di Gorropu (Gorropu Canyon). 4 km / 2.5 mi oneway, about 700m / 2'300 ft in elevation change. Takes 1.5-2 hours oneway. Once you've reached the entrance, you can hike a further 1 km / .6 mi into the canyon. Entrance fee is 5€ (cash only). Jeep shuttle service back up costs 15€.
