And I’ll also show you what to do if it’s not working. First up, let’s head to the Settings app on your iPhone. Scroll down and tap Sounds & Haptics. Now scroll to Ringtone. Make sure the Haptics option has a vibration pattern selected—either the default one or any custom pattern you’ve made. Just don’t set it to None. Another important setting is for select right haptics,, Go back, and under the Haptics section you’ll see four choices for when you want the vibration to kick in: Always Play – haptics will vibrate when your iPhone rings or gets an alert. Play in Silent Mode – it’ll vibrate only while the phone’s in silent mode. Don’t Play in Silent Mode – no vibration when silent mode’s on. Never Play – this cuts off vibration completely for all rings and alerts. I recommend keeping it on Always Play so you never miss a call or notification. If vibration still isn’t working, check the system-wide vibration setting. Open Settings, scroll to Accessibility, then scroll again to find the Vibration toggle. Make sure that’s turned on—this controls vibration for ringtones, alerts, and even emergency alerts. If you wanna turn off all vibration everywhere, just flip this toggle off. For a quick way to switch into vibrate, press and hold the Action Button on the left edge of your iPhone until you feel the haptic feedback and silent mode turns on. If that button’s been customized or isn’t responding, check out my other tutorial on fixing the silent switch. You can also use Control Center—just swipe down from the top-right corner and tap the bell icon to enable vibrate mode right away. iPhone 17 vibration on off, iPhone 17 Pro vibration settings, iPhone 17 Pro Max vibration alerts, turn on vibration iPhone 17, turn off vibration iPhone 17, vibration not working iPhone 17, iPhone 17 calls vibration, iPhone 17 notification vibration, iPhone 17 always play haptics, iPhone 17 play in silent mode, iPhone 17 haptics settings, iOS 26 vibration settings, fix vibration not working iPhone 17, enable vibration iPhone 17, disable vibration iPhone 17, iPhone 17 vibration guide, iPhone 17 vibration troubleshooting, iPhone vibration for calls, iPhone vibration for notifications, iPhone 17 sound and haptics settings, GET CHEAP iPHONES on Amazon (US): https://amzn.to/3NrhGmd GET CHEAP iPHONES on Amazon (CA): https://amzn.to/4h53UTU GET CHEAP iPHONES on Amazon (UK): https://amzn.to/40570Bj GET CHEAP iPAD on Amazon (US): https://amzn.to/4dP9XcC GET CHEAP AirPods on Amazon (US): https://amzn.to/3BJVIsd If you found this video helpful, give it a like!
