Sabuzac Walker 입니다. 한국전쟁 71주년에 가난과 한국전쟁의 발자취를 따라서 부산 중구 40계단 기념관 주위를 탐방코자 합니다. 1950년 6 월 25일 발발한 한국 전쟁은 1953년 7월 27일 휴전 협정이 조인될 때까지 씻을수 없는 상처와 엄청난 희생만 남겼다. 남북도합 600만여명이 넘는 인명 피해를 초래한 이 전쟁으로 당시 남북한 인구가 3,000만명이라고 할 때 총 인구의 20% 이상이 희생을 당한 것이다. 한국전쟁은 인적 및 경제적으로 막대한 피해를 가져왔을뿐 아니라 남북한간 증오와 대립을 심화시켰으며 공고한 분단체제만 가져다 주었다. 한국전쟁이 끝난지 수십년이 지났지만 아직도 그 아픔이 서려있는 곳이 40계단이다. 한국전쟁과 역전 대화재 (1953 년 11 월 27 일)의 아픔을 고스란히 품고있는 40계단은, 이제 문화와 예술의 거리로 변모해 가고 있다. 예술의 멋을 가미한 40계단은 미래를 위한 문화관광 테마거리로 거듭나고 있다. 근대의 상처와 아픔을 간직하면서도, '그래도 살아야겠다'는 삶의 의지와 희망은 40계단 층층대마다 스며 들어있다. ☘Hello! I'm Sabuzac Walker. On the 71st anniversary of the Korean War, I would like to follow the footsteps of poverty and the Korean War and visit around the 40 steps memorial hall in Jung-gu, Busan. The Korean War, which broke out on June 25, 1950, left only indelible wounds and enormous sacrifices until the armistice agreement was signed on July 27, 1953. The war, which caused more than 6 million casualties in total between the two Koreas, resulted in more than 20% of the total population being sacrificed when the population of the two Koreas was 30 million at the time.
