Benjamin Easley, Citizen Energy's Coordinator of Corporate & Public Affairs, comments that many homeowners utilize automatic irrigation systems that are set to daily schedules. "We are asking people to dial that back just to twice a week. It's very often to set it and forget it... But all of that pull on the water system can be very stressful on the infrastructure. So that's what we are trying to alleviate with this twice a week message." Easley shares other water usage advice. Citizens recommends turning systems off if rain is in the forecast.
