January 19 ~ Second Sunday of Ordinary Time “Do whatever he tells you.” These are the words of Mary at the end of today’s gospel! Mary is saying these words to each one of us. We can only do what Jesus says if we are listening and really hearing the Word of God. Take time to ponder today’s readings, what is Christ telling each of us? We will get a hint about what we are to do by considering the different spiritual gifts St. Paul speaks of in the second reading. Which one (or more) has the Spirit given you? Claim the gifts God has given you and then, put those gifts into action.
