[Ep. 26] Does honey go bad?

Oshun, the honey master and owner of a long-established beekeeping farm founded in 1912 (Taisho 1), will share accurate information about honey with you! -------------------------------- Born into a long-established beekeeping farm founded in 1912 (Taisho 1). As the second son of the third generation of a family that has been keeping bees for generations, he learned beekeeping from a young age. He learned beekeeping from the second generation, Seiichi, and the third generation, Tadao, and continues to this day. Since 1999, he has been looking to beekeeping around the world and learning beekeeping techniques from around the globe. In 2001, he provided guidance on Japanese beekeeping techniques to China. Recently, he has been giving lectures nationwide to promote honey and train Japanese beekeepers. Hello everyone! This is Oshun. In search of delicious honey! Japan is a developing country when it comes to honey. Modern beekeeping techniques were introduced to Japan at the end of the Meiji era, brought to the country by the first generation Matsujiro and others. Until around 1965, some people even referred to honey as "bee urine." Especially during this period, honey had a strong image as a traditional Chinese medicine (medicine), and its high price meant that it was rarely consumed by the general public. The "honey lemon" boom was what caused honey to become incredibly popular. A honey lemon drink from a major beverage manufacturer became a massive hit, dramatically increasing the demand for honey. This led to a large influx of honey from around the world into Japan. However, this also had negative consequences. The large-scale import of even unpalatable honey led consumers to develop the image that "honey is just sweet and not very tasty!" Honey matured by bees has a rich aroma and is truly delicious. I believe my mission is to convey this message to as many customers as possible. To that end, I believe the best way to do so is to continue providing delicious honey. Due to changes in the natural environment, the conditions for honey harvesting are deteriorating worldwide. However, as someone involved in beekeeping, I believe there is something I can do. I believe that is to increase the number of honey fans, even if it's just one person at a time. And together with those fans, I hope to consider the state of the natural environment and the future of agriculture. ------------------------------------------------------------ ■My Shop ⇒ Matsujiro's Shop Website https://matsujiro.shop/ ■My Shop ⇒ Ise Oharaimachi Website https://matsujiro-academy.net/ ■My Shop ⇒ Matsujiro's Shop Official Facebook   / matsujiro   ■My Shop ⇒ Matsujiro's Shop Official Twitter   / matsujiro_honey   ■My Shop ⇒ Matsujiro's Shop Official Instagram https://www.instagr am.com/matsujiro_honey/ ■My Shop ⇒ Matsujiro's Shop Ise Official IG   / matsujiro_honey_ise   ■First Generation Honey Meister IG   / shunsuke.mizutani   ■Honey Meister Blog http://ameblo.jp/matsujiro1912/ ■Honey Meister Twitter   / meisterhoney
