Chase Breaks Records As Bengals Shock Steelers

A record night from Ja’Marr Chase led the Bengals in a thrilling upset over the Steelers on Thursday Night Football, 33-31. Cincinnati’s #1 showed why he’s the league’s No. 1, with a franchise-record 16 catches on 23 targets for 161 yards and a touchdown. It marked the first time in his career with 10+ receptions in back-to-back games, remarkable given his quarterback in those outings, Joe Flacco, has only been with the team 9 days. Flacco, benched then traded by the Browns, finished 31-47 for 342 yards and 3 touchdowns, and lead a drive in the final 2 minutes to set-up the game-winning field goal. The only QB in the NFL older than Flacco, Aaron Rodgers, tallied 249 yards and 4 scores, but also threw 2 interceptions on a night where every drive mattered.
