Welcome to our 11:00 AM worship service on the twelfth Sunday after Pentecost! Pentecost is the last day of Easter and leads us into the current season of celebration, known as Ordinary Time. The purpose of this season is to support disciples by living out the gifts and callings understood during the Easter Season and commissioned on the Day of Pentecost. Dr. Jay Cooper will give a gospel lesson from Luke 14:1,7-14, where Jesus discusses what are healthy mealtime habits with dinner companions. Here, Dr. Cooper will raise the question, “Who is coming to dinner?” Our hymns are “O Worship the King,” “Freely, Freely,” and “Amazing Grace.” Thank you for joining us in a time of song, scripture, prayer, and response.
