Thanksgiving Day - Feeding the 5000 "Unexpected Gratitude"

Thanksgiving message from Thursday, November 28th, 2024. Pastor Steven Gunther. When Jesus goes to perform one of His most famous miracles, His disciples are worried that they don't have enough food for everyone. With only five loaves of bread and two fish to feed 5,000 people, Jesus takes the bread and gives thanks before breaking and distributing it. This must have confused all of the disciples. Why would someone give thanks when they clearly don't have what they need? And yet, after that display of gratitude, those five loaves and two fish were able to feed everyone and leave leftovers.
