
My favorite tofu comfort meal 🍅🌿
💍 Marry me tofu. 🍅🌿 (Or for those who hate corny recipe names, Tuscan tofu, or pan-fried tofu in a sun-dried tomato & basil cream sauce. 😌) Originally shared this recipe last spring but I’ve made a few tweaks and I like it even better now. Super-firm tofu dredged in flour, pan-fried in olive oil. Sauce is sautéed shallots/onion, garlic, Italian seasoning, broth, your favorite cooking cream (in my case homemade cashew cream), vegan parm, basil, and sun-dried tomatoes. Also added some Calabrian chili pepper paste this time around and it was tasty. Full recipe is on my blog sarahsvegankitchen.com.
