The Second Sunday of Advent Waiting A Sermon by Mo. Turner, Associate for Family Ministry & School Chaplain Sunday, December 5th at 4pm As many seek comfort and joy in the business and excitement of the season, we are reminded that Advent calls us to wait on God, a God who as we will hear in our New Testament reading, both hears our prayers and enters into the detail of our lives, even as we wait. When Henri Nouwen spoke of Advent waiting, he reflected Advent is not like waiting for a bus to arrive, rather, “It is an active waiting in which we live the present moment to the full in order to find there the signs of the One we are waiting for.” Watch more sermons here: • Sermons from the Pulpit of Saint Thom...
