Developing Your Divine Nature: Speaking Wisdom and Living by the Spirit In 1 Corinthians 2, the Apostle Paul unveils a profound truth: “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him.” But these mysteries are not hidden from us—they are revealed by the Holy Spirit, who searches the deep things of God. Paul emphasizes that we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit of God, so that we might know the things freely given to us. These are not just theological concepts—they are realities to be spoken and lived. Paul says, “Which things also we speak,” not merely speak about, but declare and manifest. We speak divine health, strength, wisdom, and victory. This is spiritual language, not carnal speech. 🗣️ Speaking Wisdom: The Language of the Spirit In the realm of the Spirit, language is different. You don’t say “I want water”—you say “I drink.” This illustrates the precision and authority of spiritual speech. Paul said he could not speak to the Corinthians as spiritual but as carnal, because they were not ready for deeper truths (1 Corinthians 3:1). Mature believers must learn to speak the things of God, not echo fear or worldly limitations. Your language locates you. Christian perfection is measured by speech. Many believers suffer unnecessarily because they speak fear, weakness, and defeat. But the Word teaches us to speak power, speak life, and speak victory. You are a creator—your words shape your reality. 📖 Built by the Word: Acts 20:32 Paul declares, “I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance.” The Word builds your spirit, strengthens your inner man, and positions you for divine inheritance. You cannot rise above the Word inside you. Your life reflects the depth of revelation you carry. 🔥 Five Keys to Developing Your Divine Nature Knowledge of the Word Study Scripture diligently. The Word is your foundation for spiritual growth and authority. Meditation on the Word Go beyond memorization. Meditate until the Word saturates your spirit. “Meditate upon these things… that thy profiting may appear to all” (1 Timothy 4:15). Praying in the Spirit Speaking in tongues activates your spirit and aligns you with God’s will. “He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself.” Spiritual Synchronization Quiet time with the Holy Spirit positions your spirit in God’s calendar. You begin to walk in divine timing and purpose. Refuse Carnal Input Avoid worldly distractions. Feed your spirit with truth, not fear or offense. Grow in the Spirit, not in the flesh.
