1.25.22 Vespers, Tuesday Evening Prayer of the Liturgy of the Hours

I lost my voice, but my mother convinced me to post last year's Vespers. This is a legacy recording from last January, 2021. It is humbling and encouraging to hear how I've grown in my understanding of chant over the past year. Thank you to my Uncle Frank (my original spiritual father in liturgical music), Fr. Patrick, Giorgio Navarini, Deacon Nathaniel Sanders, Ben Blackhawk, Paul Hill, and everyone else who has given me tips on chanting and navigating the Liturgy of the Hours. Enjoy! O clemens: O pia: O dulcis Virgo Maria. English Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope. To you do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To you do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears Turn then, most gracious advocate, your eyes of mercy toward us, and after this exile show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary. tonic C.natural
