Unite demonstration; Union warns support for political parties "not unconditional" 16.01.19

Wednesday's demonstration by Unite the Union on the misuse of agency workers saw a big turnout as they were joined by members from the Gibraltar General and Clerical Association and the NASUWT. The group marched along Main Street towards Convent Place where they staged a one minute silence in protest of the use of agency workers in the public sector and the lack of training opportunities for young people. Politicians were asked to stay away as Unite warned that it would not support any party unconditionally.
