Christian Conduct: Repaying Debts | Apostle Grace Lubega Phaneroo Devotional | Lyrical Cover
Apostle Grace Lubega Psalm 37:21 (KJV); The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth. — The habit of borrowing and never repaying debts seems prevalent in Christian circles. Sometimes we think we can get away with it because our brothers and sisters in the Church are kind and will not mind. Some people no longer trust fellow Christians because experience has taught them that they actually never pay their debts. Amassing debt and refusing to repay is not proper Christian conduct. The Bible says it is the wicked who borrow and never repay. This is not your nature, child of God. You have been called to lend to nations. To grow in such graces, you must deal with the basics including the wisdom to repay what was lent to you. Do not build a reputation as one who cannot be trusted to repay what you have borrowed. Hallelujah! FURTHER STUDY: Deuteronomy 15:16; Psalm 112:5 GOLDEN NUGGET: Amassing debt and refusing to repay is not proper Christian conduct. This is not your nature, child of God. PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this word. I receive it with humility and walk under its instruction. I can be trusted. My nature is that of a generous giver. I am a lender to nations, in Jesus’ name, Amen
