Apostle Grace Lubega Philippians 1:6 (KJV); Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: — As a child of God, you must understand that the Lord is the Alpha and Omega of everything in your life. He has assured us in Hebrews 12:2 that He is the author and finisher of our faith. This is the blessed assurance that you should always have. In our theme scripture, Paul tells us that we must be confident that if God began a work in us, He will SURELY perform it until the day of Christ. What then should your attitude be? You must learn to refuse anything that seeks to end you early. If it is a doctor’s report painting doom and sentencing you to an early grave, you must be bold enough to refuse it because the doctor is not God and does not have the final say on whether you live or not. If it is the voice of naysayers telling you that your ministry will not exist in the next two years, refuse it because the God who called you is more than ready to help you finish your course. If it is relatives assuring you that you will not make it in your business that just started out, do not bow to their judgement. If God began it, He will finish it! You are a seed.
