Mutanjan | Easy Recipe | Sweet Rice | Recipe By Tahira' kitchen Subscribe: ‪@Tahiraskitchen-2‬ #cooking #food #recipe Mutanjan ingredients: • Chicken - 625g • Rice/Chawal - 375 • Sugar/Chini - 250g • Salt/Namak - 1 tbsp or to taste • Onion/Pyaz - 2 • Garlic/ lehsan -2-3 • Lemon juice - 2 • Water - 1 cup •Stock/Yakhni - half cup •Coriander seeds/Sabut Dhaniya - 2 tbsp • Fennel seeds/ Saunf - 2 tbsp • Green cardamom/Hari elaichi - 7-8 • Dried coconut/Sukha nariyal - 2-3 tbsp • Almonds/Badam - 12-15 • Pistachios/Pista & peeled 2 tbsp •Raisins/Kishmish 2- tbsp • Yellow color •Cinnamon Stick/dalchini - 2 • Cloves/Laung 7-9 Directions : Mutanjan Directions: In a wok, add chicken, garlic, onion, fennel seeds, coriander seeds, salt, water 1 cup, mix well and bring it to boil, cover and cook on low flame until chicken is tender (approx - 15-20 minutes). • Take out chicken pieces & set aside strain, chicken stock/ yakhni and reserve for later use. • In a pot, add almond/badam fry light brown & set aside. • And add cloves/laung, dalchini/cinnamon sticks, hari elaichi/green cardamom, mix well and add boiled chicken mix well. • And add stock/yakhni, sugar/chini, mix well and cook for 5 minutes. • And add boiled rice, mix well, and add all nuts, mix well. •And add lemon juice and cover the lid for 5 minutes on low medium flame. •And add yellow color and cover the lid for 5 to 10 minutes on low flame.
