In chapter 4 of Black Myth: Wukong, You meet an interesting but mysterious character known as the “Fourth Sister” You meet her in Webbed Hollows in cutscenes around the shrines with purple talismans. She helps you out in most of your interactions, including leading you to a room treasure loot, saved you from falling a couple times, and overall just helping you out throughout the chapter. Even on the final purple talisman shrine, you can hear her voice saying “RUN!” just moments before you lift it up to warn you before the Supreme inspector appears. In the outcome of the fight, a character named Crane Immortal from the Celestial court appears and talks about her and threatens you that he will turn her into a pill for you to collect in the future. Then she is never seen again throughout the game even in the fight with Hundred eyed daoist. It’s implied that These purple talisman shrines were put there by the Celestial Court to subdue the spider family in that area, and removing them alerted the celestial court. Shady. So what happened to the Fourth Sister? She was most likely captured by the celestial court for helping you back in the cave, given the threats told by the crane immortal. So we might end up rescuing her at some point maybe in future DLC of the game. It’s also speculated highly by the community that she might be the Destined One’s love interest at some point (maybe a past self?), given the signs of her actions towards him although this hasn’t been confirmed.
