Greeks vote “No” on bailout conditions
The European Union is facing its worst crisis since the formation of the euro after Greece voted decisively against accepting the terms of its euro zone bail-out deal. Early results suggested that nearly 62 per cent of Greeks had voted to reject the deal with just 39 per cent in favour. The result has taken European leaders by surprise, leading to panic in the financial markets as fears of the “No” vote would see Greece crash out of the eurozone, dealing a sharp blow to Brussels' blueprints for closer European political and financial integration. With this result Greece’s future in the Eurozone remains uncertain. Visit the Union Times website for up to date world news: http://www.uniontimes.org/ Follow us on Facebook: / union-. .
