Batwing Awning Teardown - Detailed Step-by-Step Guide Featuring the NoBo 10.6

Make sure it isn’t too windy before packing up the batwing awning. If needed, have an extra set of hands to help coordinate the teardown. First, unhook the tether on the roof and then walking in a circular pattern, carefully fold up the awning by walking toward the kitchen slide. Each time you get to a leg you’ll fold it up so it clicks into the top against an arm. Be sure to support the weight of the awning to avoid damage to the hinge. The fabric should hang downward and form triangles. When you get to the last leg gently lift the ends of the 4 arms up to their magnetic docking station. Then carefully roll and fold the fabric, securing it with the 3 velcro straps. Last, flip down the awning cover and zip it up from front to back. Don’t forget to put away any tethers and stakes used, shaking the dirt off and returning to the tongue storage box.
