Long Range Balloon Pop with a Spartan 1W (1000mW) 447nm Blue Handheld Laser | r0bac
☆ A quick video showing the power of the Spartan 1W blue laser by DragonLasers, the first two balloons popped in an instant; for the others I had to realign the laser beam as I got their angle wrong, but managed to pop them without any effort once I got it on them. You can purchase this laser here: http://www.dragonlasers.com/catalog/S... Make sure you have the correct batteries for this power-hungry beast: http://www.batteryjunction.com/2rc375... ^ Battery junction are a fantastic site, delivery from the US - UK took less than 1 week, so I was really pleased about that. The Spartan 1W laser is quality made and has a lot of burning power, the beam divergence is a lot bigger as well as having a rectangle beam (Even the Arctic III does also) but that doesn't stop it from burning a good distance away. --------------------------------------------------------------------- ☆☆☆ SAFETY! ☆☆☆ ☆ ALWAYS use eye protection when using high powered lasers; if you're using it for star pointing then you wont need to, HOWEVER using this thing for burning etc... it is EXTREMELY important you wear some: http://www.dragonlasers.com/catalog/L... ☆ ALWAYS be aware of where the beam is going, be careful of reflections as even a reflected beam hitting your or someone else's eyes can cause permanent eye damage. ☆ NEVER shine it at aircrafts, helicopters or even people & animals! Although lasers most places are legal, using them inappropriately can send you to jail with a hefty fine, so don't be stupid! ☆ CAUTIOUS when with friends, make sure they understand how dangerous lasers can be if used inappropriately and if you feel they may misbehave with it, then don't be scared to tell them no. ☆ 18 is the age requirement for lasers, do not buy/give lasers to anyone under the age. ☆☆ HAVE FUN, BUT BE RESPONSIBLE! ☆☆ ---------------------------------------------------------------------
