Police Investigate Fatal Motorcycle Crash

But all that power and performance is pushed to the side when there is a fatal wreck, like the one last night at the corner of Rossville Blvd and 43rd St. Christopher Smith, 27, of Chattanooga died after slamming into a concrete sign when he lost control of his bike. Police say its possible Smith was racing. People usually fly up and down, through here, said Tonia Walker. Walker travels on Rossville boulevard daily. While saddened by the news of the accident, she isn't shocked. At night there is not a lot of traffic around here so it would be more likely that they would do it in the evening time, said Walker, It doesn't surprise me at all.
