How to Freeze Water like Elsa the Snow Queen! Cool Fun Science Trick for kids
How to instantly freeze water like Elsa from Disney's Frozen! Ice Powers in real life? Fun at home Science trick for kids! All you need is some unopened purified water bottles and a freezer. To find the time for your freezer, place bottles evenly spaced in freezer. We recommend adding 1 bottle at a time 10 minutes apart, so you have more room for error! After the first bottle enters the freezer check on it after 1 hr 30 mins. If it is still liquid, close the freezer, and check on the bottle every 10 mins until you notice ice starting to form in the bottle. At that time the second bottle that u added should still be in liquid form and Supercooled! We noticed that the bottle had condensation on it but was still entirely in liquid form. Give it a punch to the side or bang it on a table to see it instantly turn into ice! Take note of the time for supercooling water in your freezer Now that you have a formula for supercooled water, get a clean glass. Any impurities in the glass will freeze the water before we want. The hardest part is getting the bottle open without starting the freezing process in the bottle. Very gently open a supercooled water bottle and pour into glass. Now stick in the tip of an ice cube and watch it stick in place! You can pour the supercooled water on top or a bowl of ice and watch as you make an instant slushy! in the previous video, where we got the water to freeze with Addy's wand, all we did was dip it in some crushed ice! It was a little easier to get the bottles open without starting the freezing process on accident. -Supercooling is the cooling of a liquid below its freezing point without it becoming solid. The purified water lacks a point of nucleation because it doesn't have any impurities in it. Let us know if you got this to work in the comments below:) Please Like, Share, and Subscribe!
