🌧 I wasn't expecting this camping trip to turn into a storm survival challenge. After setting up my large hot tent deep in the forest, I headed into a narrow valley to do some fishing by the river. That's when everything changed. A torrential rainstorm suddenly hit, leaving me completely soaked while I was still far from camp. With the rain getting heavier every minute, I had to make my way back through the storm and reach my tent before dark. Back at camp, the rain continued all night long. I lit the wood stove, dried off, cooked a warm meal, and spent the night listening to the incredible sound of heavy rain on the tent.
