한국인 입맛 저격! 미국 워싱턴 빵 맛집 3 Best Asian bakeries in Washington DC area

Last night I dreamt about a big big Korean bakery (with all the gracious and delicious breads but I ended up getting nothing because I could not choose what to have! ) I must have missed the Korean style breads! Here’re the best 3 Korean and Asian bakeries from the Washington metropolitan area. Let’s start with Virginia- Foundation Coffee, a Korean cafe located in Fairfax, VA. The town is home to George Mason University which has an overseas campus in Korea. Indulge yourself in desserts and the roasting area where you can see how they roast the beans. Let’s go to the right side of the DC. Cafe Dear Leon is located in Baltimore, MD. They offer Tamago Sando, Financier, and Madeleine which are not easy to be found in traditional bakeries, especially in small cities! Do you want to know how good they are? We walked in the afternoon and just one sandwich was available! We were able to get the Ceremony X Dear Leon coffee beans which was amazing. Lastly, Saku Saku Flakerie is located in DC. It is a Japanese pastry shop and they use Asian ingredients like black sesame, yuzu and matcha, etc. As you can tell by its name, they are experts in flaky pastries and incorporating Asian flavors into bakery goods. We paired the croissant with Compass coffees that I shared in my previous videos and I could tell why the black sesame mochi roll is one of their signatures. OK, I am off to Europe now! I will come back with European footage this Fall!
