The director himself had already set up storylines for Luke and Rey which may have been somewhat diverted by Rian Johnson's The Last Jedi and certainly did not line up with Colin Trevorrrow's aborted vision for Episode 9.Fans are still waiting to see whether Rey's parents actually were important, possibly even Skywalkers, Jinns or Kenobis – or whetehr Kylo Ren was telling teh truth and they were drunk traders.Ongoing leaks claim to reveal emotional scenes between Rey as a young girl and a hooded, cloaked man.It goes without saying that all leaks, rumours and reports must be treated with caution and a lot may change before a film hits the big screen, but these latest apparent descriptions of concept art are tantalising.The leaks describes the following: “Specifically a man in a Jedi-like robe with a collar similar to Lor San Tekka… He is holding a young Rey in his arms in a village in what seems to be the Jakku desert.”Fans will remember Lor San Tekka from the powerful opening scene of The Force Awakens. Played by Max Von Sydow, he was a member of the Church of the Force who held the vital missing part of the map to Luke Skywalker.The pair appear to be caught up in a major battle.The leak adds: “There are explosions in the distance and in the sky appear to be two First Order Finalisers of what appears to be different design.“The man holding Rey kisses her on the forehead, places her in an abandoned AT-AT and run off towards the danger.”Finalizers include the flagship shared by General Hux and Kylo Ren.
