We are not meant to live defeated lives, but rather, with the assurance that victory is within our grasp. In this passage, the apostle John reminds us of the power of faith. Our faith in God enables us to rise above the trials and tribulations we face. It is through our faith that we find victory over the obstacles that seek to hinder us. You see, being born of God is not merely a title or claim, but it is a transformation of our hearts and lives. It is a new birth that sets us apart from the world. When we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior, we are born again, and this new life in Him gives us the strength and power to conquer the challenges we encounter.
