It's only requires black eye peas, sea salt, salt free vegetable seasoning, seasoning blend, and your smoked meat of choice. I used smoked pig tails to give the black eye peas a delicious smoke pork taste. Trust me, you don't have to use smoked pig tails. You can use smoked turkey wings, smoked turkey necks, or smoked sausage. TikTok : https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMdqJVm7q Black Eye Peas Recipe Ingredients Smoked meat (1.5 pounds) (6 3/4 cups of water to boil meat) Black eye peas (1 pound) Frozen seasoning blend (2/3 cups) Salt Free Vegetable Seasoning (2 tablespoons) Sea salt (1 tablespoon) Water for peas (4 1/2 cups) Directions Add water for smoked meat into a pot. Add smoked meat and bring to a boil over medium high heat. Allow meat to boil until tender. Reduce water by half. Add black eye peas. Bring to a boil and reduce to medium low heat for 30 minutes. Add seasoning and stir. Cook for 30 minutes. Allow black eye peas to boil for 1 hour or until the black eye peas are fork tender. Add frozen seasoning blend. Cook on low simmer for an additional 15 minutes. Enjoy your black eye peas!
