Three men are universally recognized as having been the founding fathers of the Beat movement: Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsberg, and William S. Burroughs. This is offered as something of a brief but highly-kinetic overview of Mr. Burroughs, as he went from misunderstood outsider, to pop culture icon, to eventually be widely heralded as the most innovative and influential writer of the 20th century.
