The story of The Three Little Pigs is a classic fairy tale about three pig siblings who each build a house to protect themselves from the Big Bad Wolf. The Story: Once upon a time, three little pigs decided to build their own houses. Each pig chose a different material: The first pig was lazy and built a house out of straw, thinking it would be quick and easy. The second pig put in a little more effort and built a house out of sticks, which was stronger than straw but still not very sturdy. The third pig was hardworking and built a house out of bricks, which took longer but was strong and solid. One day, the Big Bad Wolf came along. He was hungry and wanted to eat the pigs. He went to the first pig’s house and said: "Little pig, little pig, let me come in!" The pig refused, saying: "Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin!" So the wolf huffed and puffed and blew the straw house down! The first pig ran to his brother’s house. Next, the wolf arrived at the stick house and repeated the same request. When the second pig refused, the wolf huffed and puffed again and blew the stick house down! The two pigs ran to their brother’s brick house. Finally, the wolf reached the brick house and tried to blow it down, but no matter how much he huffed and puffed, the house stood strong. The wolf then tried to trick the pigs by climbing down the chimney, but the clever third pig had a pot of boiling water waiting. The wolf fell in, got burned, and ran away, never to bother them again. Moral of the Story: Hard work, patience, and strong foundations lead to success, while laziness and shortcuts can lead to failure.
