'나는 참 포도나무이고 내 아버지는 농부이시다. 나에게 붙어있으면서 열매를 맺지 못하는 가지는 아버지께서 모두 잘라내시고 열매 맺는 가지는 열매를 더 많이 맺게 하려고 깨끗이 손질하신다. 너희는 내가 너희에게 일러 준 말로 이미 깨끗해졌으니 내 안에서 살아라. 나도 너희 안에서 살겠다. 가지가 포도나무에 붙어 있지 않고서는 스스로 열매를 맺을 수 없듯이 너희도 내 안에 있지 않으면 열매를 맺지 못할 것이다. 나는 포도나무이고 너희는 가지다. 사람이 내 안에 살고 내가 그 사람 안에 살면 그는 많은 열매를 맺는다. 나를 떠나서는 너희가 아무것도 할 수 없다. 누구든지 내 안에 머물러 있지 않으면 가지처럼 밖에 버려져 말라 버린다. 사람들은 그런 것을 주워다가 불에 던져 태운다. 만일 너희가 내 안에 살면서 내 말을 지키면 무엇이든지 원하는 대로 구하라. 그러면 그대로 이루어질 것이다 너희가 많은 열매를 맺어 내 제자라는 것을 보여 주면 내 아버지께서 영광을 받으신다. 아버지께서 나를 사랑하신 것처럼 나도 너희를 사랑하였으니 내 사랑 안에서 살아라. 아멘! 할렐루야! 예수 나를 위하여, 144장, 요한복음 15장 1-9절, 현대인 성경, 구독, 좋아요, 감사합니다 'I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will bear more fruit You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you Abide in me, and I in you Just as the branch cannot bear fruit by itself unless it remains in the vine, neither can you unless you remain in me I am the vine, you are the branches He who remains in me and I in him, he bears much fruit Apart from me you can do nothing If anyone does not remain in me, he is thrown away like a branch and withers People pick up such things and throw them into the fire and they are burned If you abide in me and keep my words, ask whatever you wish and it will be done for you This brings glory to my Father, that you prove yourselves my disciples by bearing much fruit Just as the Father has loved me, so I have loved you; live in my love Amen!
