The lead vocals are me. Life Goes On by Poison is one of the most underrated power ballads of the 90s. It was released in 1991 as the fourth single to the album Flesh and Blood. Guitarist C.C. DeVille originally brought the song to the band, where Rikki Rockett and Bobby Dall added their input. The lyrics were written after a girlfriend of DeVille's was shot and killed in a bar fight in Palm Springs, California.
