Iggy Azalea The End Of An Era 4 Play by Ron

One morning, in August 2021, after I had been up all night and was checking out YouTube, a brand new album was released just minutes prior to me discovering it, and that album changed me. I’m 57, but I am an audiophile and I love hearing new music, I love seeing new boundaries being pushed, and artists that take risks to accomplish something musically not yet discovered. I have always liked Iggy Azalea for these reasons; not just her hits, but I’d say probably 200+ songs that she has pumped out over the last decade or so. The woman isn’t just a talented rap star and pop star with phenomenal hot looks, she’s an Avant guard brilliant musical genius who has endured a lot of grief for unfair reasons (it would seem to me); but her insistence & persistence in writing, performing and recording her art is all she has ever cared about or dreamt of. Her famous tattoo on the inside of her arm says it all, “Trust Your Struggle”. But on this early August morning in 2021, my world had been rocked by what I consider to be the masterpiece of the last 2+ decades; that album was Iggy’s The End Of An Era. I then went into my madness (and my software) and took each song (and 3 bonus tracks), pulled them apart and used the instrumentals to flush out each gorgeous track, making extended edits of each song (the studio instrumentals were just too stunning not to be used) and then I mixed all those edits end to end to make a total 2 hour continuous mix in honour of the album. I used Iggy’s visualizer videos, along with photos and lots of cool effects, to make a 2 hour video. Anyway, of course, I can’t post the whole thing, but here are 4 random tracks from my Redux edition of Iggy Azalea’s 2021 album, "The End Of An Era". This is for all of us Iggy fans, especially those who took this album into their hearts and minds; I sincerely hope you love what I’ve done here. PS, Iggy has a new album coming out this summer and she just sold her back catalog for what she is quoted as saying, a nice 8 figures. The labels have been nasty to her, but fait and faith have been rewardingly kind, and she deserves all her glory at the end of the day. She’s only 32 now and the world is finally hers; she gets the last laugh and her future will be full of wonderful musical surprises, you can count on that.
