US Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Becerra has officially renewed the public health emergency declaration. It's effective July 20, 2021 for an additional 90 days which takes us into October 2021. This is the 6th time HHS has extended the emergency since it began on January 31, 2020. This renewal was expected - as is at least one more to take us to the end of the calendar year.
