Black Myth: Wukong - Erlang, The Sacred Divinity and Heavenly Kings Fight (True Ending) #Wukong

This game is truly a blast! What an epic fight itself, from the cinematics and the lore behind everything. This is the sleeper game and deserves to get the GOTY award! Many people have struggled to fight this boss and I could tell this is the hardest boss in the game. Fortunately, I got him on first try. With the right build, from weapon, armor, relics, where you allocate your skills, vessels, curios and transformations it really isn’t that hard. At this point, you have probably been great at the game, dodging wise and have beaten countless of bosses. With that being said, for you to fight Erlang which leads you to the true ending there are certain and tedious prerequisites you have to accomplish throughout the whole game. I’m not going to details on how to get those, you can do your own research on how to get to this point. First, you will need to defeat Elder Jinchi in the secret area Ancient Guanyin Temple in Black Wind Mountain. Second, you will need to defeat Fuban in the secret area Kingdom of Sahali in Yellow Wind Ridge. Third, you will need to do the Treasure Hunter's questline in The New West and defeat Green-Capped Martialist. Fourth, you will need to defeat The Duskveil in the secret area Purple Cloud Mountain in The Webbed Hollow. And finally you will need to defeat Bishui Golden-Eyed Beast in the secret area Bishui Cave in Flaming Mountains. So there are four secret areas and one questline you need to do for you to fight Erlang. So on Chapter 3, you will encounter a place called The Great Pagida at the Pagoda Realm checkpoint. At first, you’ll see you nothing but just a place to go around but once you meet the prerequisites above, you’ll see the NPC Buddha and will transport you to a realm where you can fight him. On my last video, I showed you the default or the bad ending. So to get the true ending, you have to beat Erlang and fight the Sun Monkey again. I wish I could show you the true ending but this fight and video alone is a long one. So when you finished the default ending, don’t go into new game +, instead continue the game and you’ll spawn on your last checkpoint. After, go to the Great Pagoda and there you will fight Erlang, after defeating him you still have to fight Sun Wukong again to get the true ending. Few tips: 1. The most important vessel is the Plantain Fan, it doesn’t do damage but it will deplete Erlang’s shield. It will be a hard fight if you can’t deplete his shield. 2. Don’t use elemental weapons, elemental transformations and skills like Immobilize while he has his shield. He will absorb those elementals and skills that you use against him and use it against you. Throughout the game, I used the same spells Immobilized, Cloud Step and never ever used Pluck of Many, if the Devs only made that spell consume less mana I would have used it, but I understand it will be too OP. You can use it of you think it helps. 3. The next important item is the Sunset of the Nine Skies Drink, it grants you considerable amount of Qi, so you can use the Vessel and Spirits faster in the fight. When it comes to spirit use anything that would help deplete his shield, in this fight I used the Earth Wolf. When it comes to transformations, since mostly use elements. I did use Azure Dust, never used it until this fight. It’s a very slow transformation, but doesn’t use elements and if you time and hit Erlang right, it takes away huge chunks on his shield. 4. For curious, it’s your own choice. I used two Thunderflame Seal for more mana and Tridacna Pendant. Weapon, best weapon imo Jingubang gives you 6% crit and the 4 armor sets you get for defeating certain enemies at Chapter 6, the set includes the weapon. It gives you extra defense and mana.
