How to Turn Off Legacy Username Badge on Discord - Hide Old Username

In this video, I show you how to turn off legacy username badge on Discord. Turning off the badge will hide your old name and prevent anyone from seeing it. This is useful to prevent people from seeing a potentially embarrassing old name, or to protect yourself if needed. This doesn't change your older username, instead, it hides the badge that shows members your old name. The legacy username badge may also be referred to as the originally known as badge, which allows other Discord users to see what your old username was. To turn off the legacy username badge you will need to open the Discord user settings and go to the profiles page. On the profiles page you have access to a switch to turn off or turn on the legacy username badge. Once disabled no one will be able to see your old Discord name and tag or discriminator. In some cases, you will want people to see your old Discord name, such as if you had a cool discriminator that meant a lot to you.
