This is the full version of part 2. This is between 3 & 4 am. The full version is for those who prefer longer videos. The remaining parts will be uploaded every few days. The series of videos from this starts around 1 am and ends at approximately 9:30 am. The eruption would pause less than 2 hours later. The fountain is 200 - 250 feet high in the Halemaumau vent inside the Kilauea volcanoes caldera. This eruption could be heard from the parking area 3 miles away. It was a calm night and early morning. All of the sounds are from the eruption. A lot was going on, and the noise projected in every direction, sort of chaotically. Light winds started during my last few clips in part 11. Heat shimmer would come and go throughout this series. The growing lava lake was putting out some extreme heat. There are several periods of clarity in most of the clips. I'm about 2 miles from the fountain most of the time. Sometimes even closer. The park was crowded, so getting away from people talking or playing music wasn't always easy. Yes, some people bring musical instruments. I saw a guy with a guitar on this day.
